A checklist for what's needed to start developing your site:

1. Log-in information to your hosting company's FTP (file transfer protocol) site including USERNAME and PASSWORD.
2. All text must be provided in a text-only format. Notepad (*.txt file) is best for this. DO NOT underline, italicize, use all UPPERCASE, bullet, indent, tab or star (*) anything.
3. Provide directions within the copy.
4. Key words and phrases for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Additional fees apply.
5. An EPS version or large (300 dpi) JPEG or TIFF file of your logo.
6. Contact email address.
   
7. You will need to provide us with logos, content and images.

Why do we need your text from Notepad?

Microsoft Word Documents add hidden code behind the scenes. Word and HTML (the code for web sites) do not cooperate very well. Providing us with your copy, as generated by Notepad, keeps the code clean and the cost down.
